Calendar of Meetings & Events
We will be bringing back regular Member Meetings this year along with a slate of regular and new events. Many of these are in the planning stage, so check back often for updates on events, dates & times. Some events and meetings may be combined. Meetings are held at the Lithuanian Country Club with a Zoom link provided to members who cannot attend in-person.

September 20, Sunday 2 p.m. (in-person & Zoom)
October 18, Sunday 12:45 p.m. (note earlier time; we will watch the Steelers game and tailgate afterwards) Meeting will occur during halftime. In-person only!
November 15, Sunday, 2 p.m. (Cooking Class/Holiday Cookies)
December 13 – A brief meeting at the beginning of Kucios to kickoff election of directors and officers for 2027

This year, in lieu of a pig roast, we will be offering a barbecue and celebrating Oktoberfest. It will also be Member-Appreciation Day! All LCSWPA members who have paid their 2026 dues will be admitted free! If you haven’t paid your dues yet, you can come and pay your 2026 dues and still gain free admission. This event is open to anyone wishing to attend. Non-members and guests will be charged $10/person. Children 12 and under are free.
Lithuanian food, burgers, hot dogs, BBQ pork, corn, water, iced tea, and lemonade will be provided. BYOB! You are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert. Reservations are requested by September 30th . The event will be held rain or shine.
Lithuanian items will be available for sale/Silent auction/cornhole/volleyball

Lithuanian Landmarks in the U.S.A. Book

Over the course of 7 years, authors Augustinas Žemaitis and Aistė Žemaitienė drove more than 34,000 miles across North America, visiting, mapping, and photographing each and every Lithuanian heritage site, and learning their stories. They visited Pittsburgh twice and have included photos and descriptions of Pittsburgh’s Lithuanian landmarks in their new book.
With almost 1000 of their best photos, 14 maps, and many pages of information, this album-atlas aims to describe the entire grandeur of “Lithuanian America”!
