The
Lithuanian Nationality Room is located in the Cathedral of Learning on the
campus of the University of Pittsburgh. It is maintained through the
efforts of the Lithuanian Classroom Committee. The Committee is
independent of the Lithuanian Citizens' Society, but shares many of the same
members. The classroom is one of the original Nationality Rooms at the
University. The classroom is used for regularly scheduled classes at the
University. We encourage you to visit the room at any time, but
especially during the Christmas season when it is decorated and has on display a
Christmas tree with traditional Lithuanian straw ornaments. You are
encouraged to find out more about the
University of Pittsburgh Nationality Rooms or the
Lithuanian
Classroom in particular.
